Reviewing The Price That Jesus Pays

Nothing on earth could be smooth. Some day, some moments, problem will defintiely rise.
Obviously my smoothy days have gone. I see a little rain pouring down. Thank God, it's not huge. I know myself that
it's God's way of reminding me of His presence.

I know I have to forgive. I have to love those who hurt me.
Several times I have asked the same question: what have I done? I have been trying my best to be patient to others. I have been preventing quarrals. I do my best to achieve the best outcome for everyone. Why did they do this to me?

Now that I put myself in Jesus' situation:

He's the Son of God.
He saw that we have sins.
He knew that we DO NOT deserve heaven.

He found a way to save us:

As a human form,
He came to this earth.
He was spat.
He was accused.
He was betrayed.
He was isolated.
He was beaten up.
He was nailed on the cross.
On the verge of dying,
He cried to the Father in Heaven,
'Father, forgive them! For they do not know what they are doing.'
And He died for our sins.

Because He LOVES us.

Jesus had gone through so much pain. His heart was broken. He did NO WRONG to deserve everything. However He was prosecuted and was killed for us. And what amazed me the most was that He chose to forgive.

What's worse than this?
I have to be grateful!

Lord,
Please give me the power to love and forgive those who hurt me, like how You did.
In Jesus' name I pray,
Amen.
